SHMONG TV LLC ("SHMONG TV", "we", "us") is a video production company in Brooklyn, New York. This policy explains what information we collect through our website shmong.tv, our emails, and our internal business tools (including our connection to QuickBooks Online), and how we use it.
Information we collect
- What you send us. Your name, email address, company, event details, dates, locations and budget when you fill out a form or email us for a quote.
- Project and billing records. Quotes, invoices, payment status and the details needed to deliver your project.
- Website usage. Standard analytics and advertising data (pages visited, device, browser, approximate location) collected through cookies and tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and our CRM's tracking script.
How we use it
- To answer your inquiry and send you a quote, invoices and project updates.
- To schedule and deliver your production.
- To keep accurate business and tax records.
- To improve our website and measure our advertising.
We use software, including AI tools, to help draft quotes and replies. A person at SHMONG TV reviews quotes before they are sent.
QuickBooks Online
We connect our own QuickBooks Online account to our internal quoting tool, "SHMONG Quotes". Through that connection we read and create customer records and invoices in our own QuickBooks company only, so we can bill our clients. We do not access any other QuickBooks company, and we do not sell or share QuickBooks data. Access tokens are stored encrypted-at-rest on a computer we control, and the connection can be removed at any time from QuickBooks.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business (for example email, payments and invoicing through Intuit QuickBooks, calendar, and website hosting), with crew members who need it to deliver your project, or when the law requires it.
Payments
Card and bank payments are processed by Intuit QuickBooks Payments. We do not store your full card or bank numbers.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and project records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal and tax obligations, typically up to seven years for billing records.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you emails, by writing to contact@shmong.tv. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
