Where we shoot on Long Island
Long Island is really two coasts and two counties, and each corner shoots differently. Here's how we think about it:
- North Shore Gold Coast — Great Neck, Roslyn, Oyster Bay, Sands Point. Historic estates, manicured grounds, and harbor views. This is classic waterfront-mansion wedding territory, and the tree cover means you plan around dappled light.
- Nassau core — Garden City, Mineola, Westbury. Hotels, country clubs, and business venues that are an easy run from the city. Good for weddings and corporate alike.
- Suffolk business belt — Melville, Hauppauge, Farmingdale. Office parks and corporate campuses where we handle conferences, brand films, testimonials, and interviews.
- The Hamptons & North Fork — East Hampton, Southampton, Sag Harbor, and the vineyards around Cutchogue and Aquebogue. Estate weddings, vineyard ceremonies, and destination-feel events without leaving New York.
- South Shore beaches — Long Beach, Jones Beach, and the barrier-island stretch. Sunrise and golden-hour footage, beach elopements, and drone runs straight out over the Atlantic.

Practical logistics on Long Island
Travel from DUMBO. Our base is 68 Jay St in Brooklyn. Garden City and the western Nassau venues are typically under an hour off-peak; Huntington and the central Suffolk offices run roughly an hour to ninety minutes; the Hamptons and North Fork are a two-to-three-hour drive, longer on summer Fridays when the LIE and Sunrise Highway back up. We plan call times around that traffic so the crew and gear arrive early and unhurried. Travel is included in your written quote.
Permits and insurance for public spaces. Beaches and parks like Jones Beach are state-run and often require a film permit and proof of insurance, especially for tripods, lighting, or drone use; Long Beach and town parks have their own rules. We carry professional liability insurance and can provide a certificate (COI) — many venues and offices ask for one before you load in. If your shoot needs a permit, we'll flag it early so it's handled before the date.
Loading and parking. Estate and vineyard grounds usually have room for a crew vehicle but can be a long carry from lot to ceremony site, so we scout access and stage gear accordingly. Melville and Hauppauge office parks are straightforward. Beaches mean sand, tides, and boardwalk carries — we build in extra setup time.
Noise, light, and drone. Waterfront and open-field venues are windy, which affects audio; we run wireless lavs and backups. Aerial work near the water is beautiful but airspace-regulated — our pilots are FAA-licensed and fly within the rules, and some coastal zones require advance clearance.
Best hours and seasons. For weddings and real estate, golden hour on the South Shore and North Fork is the money window; the North Shore's tree cover reads best mid-to-late afternoon. Vineyards peak in late summer and early fall harvest color. Beaches are cleanest and emptiest at sunrise. Summer weekends are busy everywhere out east, so lock dates early — though we never promise availability until it's booked.

- Shoot day. Crew arrives early, sets up, and captures everything — multi-cam where it matters, audio, and aerials.
- Delivery. Raw footage in 24–48 hours; finished edit in 5–7 business days, with two rounds of revisions. A 48-hour rush is available. You always keep every frame of raw footage at no charge.

Can you shoot a wedding in the Hamptons or at a North Fork vineyard?
Yes. Estate and vineyard weddings on the East End are among our most common Long Island requests. We plan call times around summer-weekend traffic so the crew arrives early, and we build in extra setup time for grounds with a long carry from the lot.
Do you handle corporate events on Long Island?
