A single-day wedding is a known quantity: one ceremony, one reception, a predictable timeline. An Indian wedding is a production. Events can span two or three days across separate venues — a mehndi at a family home or restaurant, a sangeet with choreographed performances, the ceremony itself, and a reception that runs past midnight. Guest counts often reach into the hundreds.

That scale is exactly where an inexperienced crew falls apart. They run out of camera batteries during the vidai, they miss the groom's entrance because nobody scouted the baraat route, or they light a mandap for the ceremony but not the stage for the sangeet performances. • Sangeet — staged performances and speeches. This is a multi-cam event: a locked wide on the stage, a second camera for reactions, and a gimbal operator moving through the crowd.
• Baraat — the groom's procession, frequently outdoors and on the move. This is where a second shooter and, where permitted, a drone earn their keep.
• The ceremony (pheras / vows) — the emotional core. Multiple angles on the mandap and the couple, wireless lav mics on the officiant and couple so the audio is usable, not lost to a PA system.
• Reception — entrances, first dances, toasts, and a long open dance floor. Multi-cam plus strong low-light coverage.

Highlight films and full ceremony edits

Most couples want two things that serve two purposes. The highlight film is the three-to-six-minute cinematic piece you actually share — the one set to music that moves through the whole weekend. The full ceremony and reception edits are the longer, near-real-time records you keep so that years later you can watch the entire pheras or your grandparents' toast start to finish.

We shoot on 4K cinema cameras (RED and Sony FX series), with pro lighting, gimbals for movement, and wireless lav mics so vows and speeches are clean. Editing is done in Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve, and every finished edit includes two rounds of revisions so the final cut reflects your family's priorities, not just ours.
